We spend the night with Pat, my buddy from back home. He's a fancy chef in a fancy restaurant, and knows the best places to eat cheap fancy in fancy Frisco.

We meet up with the LA crew at the Golden Gate Bridge, which has it's own cloud system.

Interesting angle.

The Golden Gate was the focal point of the documentary, The Bridge. It's one of the most moving and brutally honest films about suicide ever made, which made it all the more eerie in the fog.

We then head to the largest Chinatown outside of Asia.

A local musician.

Kurt is a serious shopper.

Many beautiful things.

Mr. I-wear-all-black-because-I-live-in-LA Mantz feels at home with these dark structures.

Not hungry.

But definitely thirsty. We climb to the Top of the Mark for a refreshment and enjoy a 360 view of the city.

We collide with more SCAD buddies, including Ms. Aronoff, at The Mission. Giddyup.
