DAY TWENTY-NINE - Arches National Park

We spent the night at Kelly's place - a friend of a friend. She's works for the National Park Service and give us the skinny on the best places to hike in Arches National Park, which contains over 2,000 natural sandstone arches. We investigate and find Balanced Rock - the size of three school buses.

Not the kinda hike we're looking for.

Much better.

Boman and his cowboy hat are ambushed and interviewed. "What's most important in life?" Hmmm...

We move on and hunt for more arches.

Karate Kid tribute under South Window Arch.

Little lizard friend.

Boman under Turret Arch.

If my hat was just a little larger, I would have been interviewed too. My answer would be to "wear the biggest hat possible."

B-boy stance with Delicate Arch just minutes away.

It turns out that this place is no secret.

National Park photographers are a different breed of photographer and could care less if you have the same angle under the same bad light. I find my next Haloween costume inspiration.

Ladies and gentleman - the Utah license plate symbol. Seen like always before.

We sneak around the back of the Arch and Boman gets extreme with a Cliff energy bar.

Pretty steep. Even for a sheep.

Even for your mom's yellow Jeep.

We move on to Devil's Garden, but it's been an 8-mile hike to this point, so we decide to head back.
