We spend the night at Tom and Diane's. They're old SCAD buddies and now role model parents living just outside of downtown. Their baby, Corry, is dangerously cute and not afraid to show off his toys once he gets to know you.

Our first mission of the day is to find Boman a bike. Apparently Macauley Culkin thinks $300 is a good deal for a sick pre-owned road bike.

But it's a good investment.

It's a perfect day. We ride bikes to Zilker Park and jump up and down when we find Barton Springs - a three acre underground spring that averages 68 degrees year round. Boman finds another reason to do the splits in front of hundreds of people. This is after the Obama cannonball.

Austin is an outdoor kinda city.

We test the new purchase on a trail nearbye.

I heard the painter had a squeeky toy to make Bush smile.

The Texas State Capitol Building is taller than the US Capitol. Look close, those specks are people.

One big happy family.

Baby Corry gets a little crazy and does it no-hands. Nice BluBlockers™ Tom.

The no-look high-five.

Baby dangle.

We start the night at the Alamo Drafthouse. Prior to showing Mad Max on an outdoor screen, several unlucky film enthusiasts found themselves stuck in a sticky situation - a vegemite sandwich eating contest in honor of Aussie exploitation films. We found ourselves front and center.

Mad Max. Blood. Octane. Asphault. Revenge. Hurricane Ike had little effect on this genuine Austin experience.

We meet up with more SCAD Grads (minus the three well groomed guys on their cell phones) and have ourselves a crazy night on 6th Street. Boman's feet are sore from dancing the next morning.
