DAY TWELVE - Santa Fe

I brew my first pot of coffee. Success!

Chili peppers make you tough.

We start things off at the Palace of the Governors - the oldest continuously used public building in the country. Merchants line the sidewalk selling handmade jewelry including bolos.

"Macho Man Randy Savage, far from average"

The bison head was not for sale.

The biggest bolo in Santa Fe. If you fancy neck problems, then you will fancy this.

We ride around Santa Fe looking for authentic ponchos.

We stumble upon a Cowboy thrift store, and Boman splurges on a cowboy hat. He has to take the headrest off the car seat in order to lean back. I tell him we need to hit up the used horse store. Locals cheer as we exit the parking lot and all is right with the world.

Still poncholess, we are told to head to The Jackalope - a rustic version of World Market. Linda is the security guard and scares the hell out of me.

Two jackalopes nuzzling right before their heads get chopped off. Scadoosh!

I purchase a new friend.

Boman's dvds arrive on schedule.

We go to the film festival for a couple films - one on wiccan families and another on the healing power of crystal bowls. Following the screenings, Ashana delivers soaring angelic vocals coupled with the healing sounds of crystal singing bowls. Folks get horizontal as healing vibrations pass through their very being.

Ashana turns up the metaphysical heat.

Matt awakening from his crystal bowl bath.

East Indian themed afterparty.

DJ Zen.

Boman dons his new purchases and focuses in on the tv while I update the blog.

Then he gets down to business signing and editioning each dvd. Still in the same clothes.
